Pastor in Residence: Marshall Stokes

Marshall Stokes has served as lead pastor, interim pastor, and church consultant for 30 years. He has taught pastoral ministry and leadership at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including three times at Kima International School of Theology in Kenya, East Africa.

Having pastored Olde Towne Community Church before, it is a rare privilege to be able to return to this Christ-centered fellowship. Other pastoral assignments have included Natchez, Canton, and Union, MS.

Marshall and Sheryl (Sissie) live in Flowood, MS and are parents to two adult sons, Jay (Amy) and Will (Morgan), and grandparents to three girls: Sadie, Phoebe, and Addie.

Marshall is a graduate of The University of Mississippi, Millsaps College, Wesley Biblical Seminary, and Anderson University. He is bivocational and works full time for Veterans Health Administration where he serves as a Health System Specialist to the Chief Medical Officer.

Worship Pastor: Marty Parks

Marty has been involved in church music and worship leadership roles for congregations in Tennessee, Texas and Mississippi for over 30 years. He is active as a composer, arranger, orchestrator and producer with over 1,000 songs and arrangements in print. He is also the author of Quiet Moments for Worship Leaders, a devotional book based on the book of Psalms. He and his wife, Vicki, have 4 children: Brandt, Jarrod, Stanford and Sarah Beth.
